Alzheimer

As sudden as death

Least expected guest

Zealously growing ventricles like cancerous threat

Have made my granddad forget

Ever so smart he once made word puzzles like a poet

In vain our attempts to connect

Memories of old are all you have

Ever told you we miss you yet?

Really wished you’d never get this cruel present
